Mike started his career While still in high school playing local jazz gigs in milwaukee with Berkley Fudge, Dan NImmer (lincoln center ensemble), and other local jazz staples. He was awarded a scholarship to attend berklee college of music. There he studied with Mike Mangini (dream theater). in addition, mike has studied with industry icons such as bernard Purdie, bob moses, and dave weckl. While at berklee, he began his session journey doing late night drum sessions for joe wong, and even worked with eddie kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin)

After berklee, mike relocated to chicago and found himself recording with locals such as jay Bennett (wilco) and touring with bands such as the bomb (naked raygun) and four star alarm. Mike then moved to los angeles and immersed himself into the scene playing and recording with a range of artists and producers; some including Globus (yoav goren), summer darling, ali beletic (alevenique), Cy dune (akron family), ilevens, cataline, paul layton, demands, brendan byrnes, sage lewis, ugly, ugly words, Fear of water, and many more. Mike also contributed to soundtracks, commercials, and music libraries for future perfect and immediate music.

Mike is currently based in milwaukee working with local and national artists and operating his own studio sending drum tracks everywhere.
